Dock Maintenance

Dock Remodels / Additions
Though they are built to last for years, docks are subjected to harsh conditions. Because they are exposed to constant water, sun exposure, and a wide range of temperatures, damage and decay can occur over time. However, this damage does not always require a replacement dock or a complete rebuild. The team at Tennessee Dock Masters, LLC will perform an inspection of your dock and give you our expert opinion of what repairs need to be made or if replacing your dock is your best option. Our extensive dock building experience and skills make us ideally suited to handle every aspect of your dock's repair.

Remodeling & Additions
If you are ready to make improvements to your dock, Tennessee Dock Masters, LLC can handle everything from simply installing new decking to adding on an extra slip or seating area. If you want to take off the roof and replace it with an upper deck, we can do that, too. No job is too big or too small for the Masters!
Lifts - Installation / Maintenance
The Tide Tamer Aluminum Boathouse Boat Lift is the premier lift on the market for stationary docks. This Aluminum Boathouse Lift is built from all marine-grade aluminum and features an aluminum direct drive, which requires no maintenance, a stainless-steel motor, and stainless steel cables to ensure long life and pristine appearance.
This boathouse boat Lift also comes with aluminum bunks so you don’t have to replace them as you do with the wood bunks that many lifts manufacturers use. Only the best for your boat! This lift is the all-around best Boathouse Lift in the industry.
When you purchase a TideTamer boat lift from Tennessee Dock Masters, it also comes standard with a remote so you can raise and Lower the lift from inside the boat.

Shoreline Stabilization
Redi-Rock Seawalls
When it comes to the lake, not all retaining wall solutions are created equal. Redi-Rock’s proven, engineered retaining wall systems use precast modular one-ton blocks made of 4,000 PSI concrete. These walls are known to perform against freeze-thaw cycles, marine environments, and record-setting storms. They are ideal for retention ponds, riverbanks, homes, marinas, and more. Redi-Rock seawalls are aesthetically pleasing, fully functional solutions to prevent erosion and add beauty to any waterfront. If you have a shoreline that needs stabilizing, Redi-Rock seawalls are the versatile solution you can trust.

Rip Rap
Rip rap is the placement of large rocks or coarse stone along the water’s edge of a bank or shoreline to accomplish erosion control from wave action and run-off. Adding rip rap to your shoreline not only defends against erosion, but it adds a more natural look while still giving your shoreline a defined edge. Rip rap is generally considered a more natural habitat for organisms and wildlife than retaining walls and has a lower installed cost.

FREE TVA Permit Assistance
Don't Get Bogged Down In The Paperwork
The team at Tennessee Dock Masters believes that building a dock should be a good experience from the very beginning - so we will handle all the paperwork and the communication with TVA on your behalf for no charge so you can focus on the things that matter – even if you don’t hire us to build your dock or stabilize your shoreline. No strings attached and no fine print. All you will pay is the application fee that TVA requires when the permit is submitted.

Section 26a of the TVA Act requires that a permit be attained before any shoreline construction activities - such as building a dock or stabilizing the shoreline - begin. Tennessee Dock Masters has successfully helped hundreds of homeowners navigate the application and permit process. With us as your Authorized Agent, you can rest easy knowing we are here to help guide you every step of the way.
Whether you are building a fixed or floating dock, building an addition on your dock, stabilizing the shoreline, or running irrigation lines from the lake, you must have permit approval from TVA. The application process can be tedious and overwhelming, and any errors can delay the approval process. With our free permit preparation service, there is no reason for you to do it alone.
